INA Academy delivers a list of publications under the eCommunications Sector Capacity Building Program that report project findings and research results regarding the developments that shape the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Sector in the following 5 Western Balkan Countries:
These 5 country ICT Status Reports constitute a concrete effort to apply a unified methodology of benchmarking the ICT development in the target region and to promote a culture of systematic and precise monitoring of the current situation in the ICT Sector. The Reports can be used as a tool for comparative analysis and assessment of those factors that underpin or hinder the faster development of the market. It is these results that the Program aims to inspire a fruitful collaboration and competition process between the countries of the Western Balkan region in the race towards the establishment of an effective Information Society, implicitly leading to prosperity and growth. The reports provide a detailed overview of ICT sector developments in the 5 target countries of South-East Europe (SEE) by presenting the most updated information and statistical data for the last few years. Each country report contains detailed analysis and data on the country’s Economic, Political and Regulatory Environment, the most up-to-date information on its Competitive ICT Environment, including telecom statistics based on Fixed, Mobile and Internet Market indicators, as well as profiles of Key Market Players.
